After trying to get my A/C fixed or replaced for almost 1 year and getting no where with countless other HVAC companies, Barry Sr. swooped in like Superman and saved the day. Called him on a Sunday afternoon and he was there in 20min ready to help. I told him my problems, what I wanted to accomplish and my budget. Barry was able to deliver on all three. Amazing!!!!!! As a customer service professional myself I reluctantly find my scrutinizing my experiences, but Barry Sr. and Barry Jr. gave me now reason fret through the entire process. The time it took to complete my needs was faster than lighting and did not disrupt my daily life what so ever. I tell my self and my employees all the time "I wish I could find the kind of service I provide to my customers," and now I strive to provide the quality of service that Barry Sr. and Barry Jr. provided for me.

I really can't say enough about Barry Sr. and Barry Jr. My parent's have used them for years and when I moved out, I become a customer. Over the years, they have kept the life of our furnace and air conditioning unit going somehow. Finally this summer, the air conditioning unit took its last spin. The guys were there the next day, went over the logistics with me and planned for the installation of the new unit within 2 days. The price was great and the work was thorough. After having a house at 80 degrees for a few days, now that we're down to 75, it's almost chilly in here! :) You will not go wrong with this company. They wont try to sell you anything you don't need and they are honest and upfront. Barry Sr. always asks about my parents and you can tell they really know their customers. I really can't say enough about them - we'll be calling Mary in the fall for our furnace cleaning and the annual begging of me to help get that furnace through "one more year!" Thanks again SO much!!!! We are again very satisfied with your work.

After 25 yrs our old conditioner had had it. On one of the hottest days this year. I called a friend who highly recommend Arctic Enterprises, I called and within a half hour Barry called me back and said he could stop by within the hour. Amazing !! He looked everything over and we decided ,yes, we definitely needed a new unit.They got back to me the next morning with quote , this was on Saturday and they told me they could do the job on Wednesday .

I came home from work at 11 pm on 6/18/20 found the house was warm. I checked my air conditioner and noticed the condenser fan wasn't working. I turned the AC off at the thermostat and texted Barry to let him know I thought the motor for the fan motor needed to be replaced. He contacted me at 8 am and he thought it my be a burned condenser. I told him the time I would a 1 and half window between jobs. He arrived right on time and replaced the condenser and had the AC running in no time. I have had Arctic do work for since the business started and have always been pleased with their service and prices. If you need a HVAC service I highly recommend Arctic Enterprises.

Barry came out and cleaned our AC unit and furnace and was a true professional. He was very knowledgeable and respectful of my home and showed up right on time as promised. Did not try to oversell me on anything and his pricing was extremely fair for the work put in. I have had reliability issues with prior companies I've had out but I've now found my go to for seasonal HVAC maintenance and will definitely be calling Arctic Enterprises when it comes time to replace my unit. These guys are honest and hard-working. They will not over-sell you. They know the products. At my prior residence, they identified and corrected a host of errors that another installer had made on a furnace and AC install, and they charged a very reasonable sum for their service. At my new home, I had several competitive bids for a new HVAC system--I was relieved to find that Arctic was again very competitive. And they then did terrific and timely work. I will not use anyone else.

We recently had Arctic Enterprises install two new furnaces, two new central A/C units, a humidifier, and a new hot water heater for us. I must say their attention to detail, knowledge, professionalism and quality of workmanship was top notch. You would be hard pressed to find a better contractor to install and service your HVAC or hot water heater. These guys did a fantastic job. Wow. Both Barry Klatt, Sr. and Barry Klatt, Jr. did our installation and their level of experience doing this type of work really showed. They kept the work area clean, worked almost non-stop, put down throws to protect our flooring, and took great care in making sure everything worked properly. I highly recommend using Arctic Enterprises for all your HVAC needs. Oh yeah, they helped us with our ComEd rebates for the new efficiency units! Nicely done.

My air conditioner like everyone, went out during the warmest part of the summer. Arctic was one of three places that I called for a quote. I went with them because of #1 their quick response to come out and do an estimate. #2 Barry Jr. took the time to go over with me what my home really needed instead of quoting me something to replace what I had. #3 He was polite and courteous and gave me brochures to look up the equipment he quoted. When I called to tell them I would like to move forward they were out the next day. Barry did such a good job with my quote that I also ended up replacing my furnace as well. They laid tarps down everywhere to protect the floors, were so quiet and worked quickly and got it done that day. Impressive! I will not hesitate to call them in the future for maintenance as I'm sure I won't need them for repairs. Thanks again guys!

Our AC unit went out in the middle of 90 degree weather. Arctic was referred by a friend, so I called them out for an estimate. They were the cheapest of the three quotes I got and were very reasonable. After the day that I called for a quote, they came the next day to do the estimate. It's not the best when you have 2 toddlers and a newborn and your ac unit is broken. From Mary answering the phone and moving things around for us to getting our ac unit up and running as soon as possible to the "Barry" guys being very genuine and doing what they can to make sure that the customer gets the best and most honest service possible. I want to thank you and you have a customer for life. Being a General Manager of a restaurant, it sometimes can be hard to find great service, but now I see why you have been in business for many years. We contacted Arctic after our crappy Home Warranty company, HMS, refused to repair a part that was failing in our furnace. Arctic responded immediately, gave us an estimate that we could check out to be reasonable (other companies couldn't do this), and got the new furnace installed for us the next day. It was great! No down time without heat, and got a great new furnace. House was clean when they left, and they were careful with their mess. No problems at all, everything working very well. I would definitely recommend them to someone else and we will use them again.

We called Arctic when our A/C unit stopped working. Barry made the service call the same day, and after a quick diagnosis, gave us the news that our old unit had a major Freon leak. The unit was so old that the Freon type would have been quite expensive to recharge the system, with no guarantee that the problem would be solved. Barry recommended two units for us to consider, and after a few questions, we made a selection and the "Barry's" scheduled a time to install the unit. By far, it was the most painless, most professional installation that we have ever experienced. We highly recommend the Klatt's for all of your HVAC needs. Thanks Barry Sr. and Barry Jr.!!

I moved into a 1951 built home that had no central air conditioning or duct work, after many quotes I decided to go with Artic Enterprises for the job. I have to say they weren't the least amount, but decided to go with a family owned company instead of a larger company. I was very impressed with both the Barry's and son Joe. They were very conscious of their surrounding in my home. The installation took 3 days, which surprised me that they could do it that fast. They showed up when they said they would and after each day, cleaned up after theyselves.
I will continue to use them for routine maintance check on my boiler in the fall and the air conditioner next spring. I would HIGHLY recommend them and am completely satisfied with their work. They even replace the thermostat that wasn't working with a new one.

The owners of Arctic Enterprises Inc., Barry Klatt, Sr. and Barry Klatt, Jr. came out to replace my furnace last Saturday, they were on time and were very careful to protect my wood and carpeted floors. I have been in the construction field for over 40 years and I have rarely seen the quality and attention to detail that this father and son team provided. They repaired items on the ductwork that were improperly installed by the builders contractor that could not be seen until the old furnace was removed. There was no additional charge and their work was extremely professional. They were in and out in just over 4 hours and you could not tell they had been there except there was far less dust and dirt as they cleaned everything. If you are looking for a great HVAC contractor, with very reasonable and fair prices, I would recommend them without a second thought and have already given out several of their business cards to family and friends. I have given them 5 stars but they deserve more. They will be my "GO TO" HVAC contractor from now on. Great Job.

We are very impressed with Arctic's punctuality, knowledge and thoroughness. We recently purchased a foreclosure where the AC needed some work and they handled everything from start to finish in good time and at a reasonable cost. They were referred to us by family and we have already referred them to others. Highly recommended!

3 months after install a part failed. Barry replaced the part quickly at no cost. Both Barry and Heil stood by the ac and the problem was resolve with no hassle quickly.

I had an electrical fire in my furnace & got a few quotes to replace it, which were all quite high. Firemark highly recommended Arctic so I called. They came out right away and gave me a fair quote which I accepted and was glad that I did. They did an excellent, thorough job and it's working perfectly (furnace & air had to be replaced). I highly recommend them.

Arctic Enterprises came to my rescue by cleaning and servicing my furnace after move in and showed me how everything worked. Recently I had them back again to install central air and a gable fan in the front of my house, all of which required considerable customization. I have been completely satisfied with their work. I appreciated their creativity in finding solutions to retrofit my older home as well as their flexible scheduling. The "Barrys" are wonderful to work with, always upbeat and helpful. Haven't used Arctic Enterprises yet but they have the best customer service. They returned my call in a timely fashion and gave me a competitive bid on my needs. And they explained what they will do and why. When I'm ready I will definitely call them.
